about
Hope, love, and other assorted warm and fuzzy feelings don't happen by accident. They are a choice that we make every second of every day. I wrote "Choose to Hope" as a reminder for myself, but it has turned into so much more than that. I have realized that this idea extends into every aspect of our lives.
So I decided to take this idea and find a way to give back. Every night in Indianapolis, 3,000 children are homeless...but it doesn't have to be that way. I'm partnering with Dayspring Center, a temporary homeless shelter in Indianapolis, and donating 100% of the proceeds from this song to their organization. Dayspring is all about hope: 80% of people who complete their program obtain permanent housing.
This endeavor would not have gotten anywhere if it were not for the generous donations of time and talent from so many individuals. Take a look at the track credits...almost every name on the list performed his job as a donation to the cause.
Pay what you want, give what you can. No one can do it all, but we always have a choice to do some good, somehow. Choose to Hope.
